Dear Parents and Carers,
On behalf of the staff and governors of Greenacres Primary Academy, I would like to welcome you and your family to our school and website, where the key to our key message is 'Respect, Responsibility and Really Good Manners'.
Greenacres Primary Academy is a vibrant and happy learning community. Our staff work hard to provide a stimulating, exciting environment where everyone feels valued and safe, ideas can flourish and pupils can realise their full potential.
By providing a well-structured and engaging curriculum, and by promoting good behaviour through our Behaviour Charter, we aim to enthuse in all children a love of learning as well as respect and care for each other.
Whatever the needs of your child we aim to ensure they thrive at Greenacres Primary Academy, feeling safe, having fun and enjoying success. We want our pupils' time in our school to be memorable, build on what they know and can do and help them become lifelong learners.
We value highly the partnership between home and school and encourage all parents to take an active part in the education of their children. The partnership between school staff, parents, governors and other stakeholders is an essential one. Children are at the heart of all we do and their social and emotional well-being, as well as their academic achievements are very important.
This website contains much information about the school and its curriculum. If you are a prospective parent you are most welcome to come and visit us and I will be pleased to show you around. If you are the parent of a child already in school, I hope you find what you are looking for on the website – if not please let me know as I will be delighted to help.
We look forward to welcoming you and your child to our school.
Mrs Katie Thornton
