Respect, Responsibility and Really Good Manners

Fundraising

At Greenacres Primary Academy, we believe it is important to come together to help raise awareness as well as raise much needed funding for a range of worthy causes. We have recently raised money for:

October 2022 - Halloween Dress Up No-Uniform Day - £141.50

The Junior Leadership Team came up with the idea of a non-uniform day to raise funds for our Golden Table.  The Golden Table is for the children who win a Star of the Week Certificate, they get to go and eat their lunch in the DT room all together with a nominated teacher.  The children also have a selection of cupcakes as a special treat.  Children were allowed to come to school today dressed in Halloween Fancy Dress in return for a suggested donation of £1.  We raised a total of £141.50.  The JLT bought fancy drinking glasses, plates, a table cloth and some other accessories to make the Golden Table special.

Hello Yellow Day 10th October 2022 - £130.30

To celebrate #helloyellow world mental health day, we asked children to come to school wearing something yellow, maybe a headband, a pair of socks or a t-shirt, for a donation.  We raised a total of £130.30.
