What do I do if I want my child to attend Nursery?
Children are admitted to Nursery in the September of the school year in which they are 4 years old. Your child can access 15 hours free Nursery education over the school year. We currently offer morning places only (9am to 12pm).
If you wish to enrol your child in our Nursery please contact the school office in good time to place their name on the waiting list. We will also need to take a copy of your child's birth certificate. If your contact details change whilst you are on the waiting list please inform the school office.
Should you be offered a place at our Nursery and accept, we will invite you to a meeting at the school before the summer holidays before your child is due to start in Sept. Here you will have the opportunity to:
look around the classroom
meet your child's teacher and Head Teacher
find out about our uniform
- confirm when your child will start
If you would like to find out if their are any places available during the school year, please contact the school office.
Prospective parents/guardians are welcome to visit the school and should contact the school office to make arrangements.
What do I do if I want my child to attend Reception?
Children are admitted to the Reception class in the September of the school year in which they are 5 years old. Unlike with Nursery places, the Local Authority (LA) allocate places for Reception classes for all maintained schools and applications must be made online. Application forms can be submitted from 1st September 2016 and the closing date is 15th January 2017. Please click on the following link for more details about admissions for September 2016:
Should you be offered a place in Reception, we will invite you to a meeting at the school before the summer holidays before your child is due to start in September as we do with our Nursery intake.
Please note that having a place in our Nursery does not automatically make the child eligible for a place in our Reception class.
