Admissions
The Academy's Published Admission Number (PAN) is 250. This is made up of 52 children in our Nursery (26 in the morning and 26 in the afternoon) and 30 from Reception to Year 6. On this page you will find all the information you need regarding how to apply for a place for your child.

What do I do if I want my child to attend Reception?
Children are admitted to the Reception class in the September of the school year in which they are 5 years old. Unlike with Nursery places, the Local Authority (LA) allocate places for our Reception class and applications must be made online. If your child was born between 1st September 2019 and 31st August 2020 they should start primary school in September 2024. Applications can be done online via Oldham Council's website. Applying for a Reception place
You will be notified of which place your child has been offered by 12 noon on 16 April 2023.
Should you be offered a place in Reception, we will invite you to a meeting at the school before the end of the school year.
Please note that having a place in our Nursery does not automatically make the child eligible for a place in our Reception class.
Secondary school
If your child was born between 1st September 2012 and 31st August 2013 they should start secondary school in September 2024. Applications can be done online via Oldham Council's website. The deadline for applications is 31st October 2023 at 5pm. Please click on the following link for more details:

Our school is currently full in every year group. However, if you would like to put your child's name down on the waiting list, you can do so by completing the form below and returning this to info@greenacres-academy.org. If you need any help please contact the school office on 0161 770 5350.
