Some of our Year 5 and 6 pupils went to Robinwood Activity Centre from 30th September to 2nd October 2016 and they had a great time! They stayed at Dobroyd Castle in Todmorden and enjoyed lots of indoor and outdoor activities including:

  • Rocket olympics
  • Giant swing
  • Challenge course
  • Caving
  • Canoeing
  • Raft building
  • Night line
  • Trapeze
  • Crate challenge
  • Climbing
  • Zip wire
  • Archery
  • Qest

Not to mention all the team challenges!

This was a great way for the children to bond, learn new skills and enjoy being in the great outdoors, taking part in activities they wouldn’t normally have the opportunity to take part in on a day to day basis.

Here are some photographs from the weekend so you can see for yourself how much fun the children had.

"Robinwood was great! I was so distracted I didn't think about my Ipad once!" Petra (Year 6)

"See your life flash by as you go on the trapeze!" Curtis (Year 6)

"The fun never ends! I wish I could go again!" Shahida (Year 6)
